Some images from El Hondo. I spent a couple of mornings there during my visit in Spain in Easter time.
El Hondo or El Fondo in Valenciana is situated a few kilometres SSW of the Town Elx. You reach the visitor centre by turning off the AP-7 at the 730 exit, follow the signs for Catral and San Felipe Neri. Drive through the village of San Felipe Neri on the CV-8630 after about a kilometer you will find a sign for a right turn to El Fondo. You will find some more information here and here.
